New Guitars
- New Model
15 "Trout" : "Last week I had the
pleasure of playing a new handbuilt guitar by Kevin Turner
who operates Chinook Guitars here in Calgary. It's a small
bodied instrument that is very well suited to fingerstyle
playing with a clear, bell-like tone and plenty of volume.
If you are in the market for a distinctive instrument you
may want to check this one out."

- New Model 16
- This new guitar is nearing completion and should be
ready to go by summer. It's becoming quite
beautiful due in no small part to the gorgeous "bearclaw"
Sitka top. The back set is Wenge, a dark brown
African wood with a brilliant tap-tone and it's being
trimmed out in Rosewood.

in the best shape, but it does date from about the same
period as the violin. This Violin was owned and played
